Broccolini with Almond Brown Butter

  1. In pot of boiling, salted water, cook broccolini 4 to 6 minutes, stirring once or twice, until crisp-tender.
  2. Drain; transfer to a serving bowl.
  3. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add almonds.
  4. Cook 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly with slotted spoon, until lightly toasted; remove almonds with slotted spoon and scatter over broccolini.
  5. Continue to cook butter over medium heat or until golden brown, about 1 minute.
  6. Pour over broccolini.
  7. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and toss.
