Barbecued Country Style Spareribs

  1. Saute onion in butter until golden brown; stir in next 11 ingredients.
  2. Bring sauce to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes.
  3. Place ribs, meaty side up, on a rack in a shallow baking dish.
  4. Bake at 325 F degrees for about 2 hours or until well done, basting with sauce and turning every 30 minutes.
  5. Yield: 4 servings.
