Gram's Squash Pie Recipe
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1 tbsp. (rounded) flour
- 10 ounce. pkg. frzn squash
- 2 Large eggs, beaten
- 2 c. evaporated lowfat milk
- 1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell
- Thaw squash and drain off excess water.
- In small bowl combine dry ingredients and set aside.
- In large bowl mix squash, Large eggs, and lowfat milk till well combined.
- Blend in dry ingredients.
- Pour mix into 9 inch pie shell.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 20 min.
- Reduce temperature to 375 degrees and bake an additional 45 to 50 min till done.
