Porky Taco Pie Recipe
- 1 (9") pie shell
- 1 pound grnd pork
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 (1 1/2 ounce.) pkg. taco mix
- 1 (16 ounce.) can refried beans
- 1 (8 ounce.) jar taco sauce
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 c. (8 ounce.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 12 tortilla nacho chips
- Shredded lettuce
- Minced tomatoes
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- On a cookie sheet, thaw pie crust, prick with a fork and cook in warm oven for 10 min.
- Reduce temperature to 350 degrees.
- Brown meat and onion in frying pan; drain.
- Add in seasoning to meat.
- Combine beans, 1/2 c. of taco sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
- Layer 1/2 of bean mix into pie crust.
- Top with 1/2 of meat mix.
- Then with 1 c. of cheese and some chips.
- Repeat layers.
- Bake on cookie sheet for 20-25 min.
- Serve with lettuce and tomatoes.
