Apple Streusel Coffee Cake
- 2 cups biscuit baking mix (bisquick)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon ground
- 23 cup applesauce sweetened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 each eggs
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup biscuit baking mix (bisquick)
- 2 teaspoons butter or margarine, firm
- 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon ground
- 2 teaspoons nuts finely chopped
- Preheat oven to 400F (200C).
- Grease 9 x 1 1/2 inch round cake pan with butter.
- Mix all ingredients except Streusel Topping until moistened.
- Mix all Streusel Topping ingredients until crumbly.
- Spread batter evenly in pan, sprinkle with Streusel Topping.
- Bake until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 20 to 25 minutes.
- Serves warm or at room temperature.
