Diet Trifle Recipe

  1. Whisk light lowfat sour cream with skim lowfat milk (add in gradually), orange juice, orange peel and instant pudding mix.
  2. When well mixed and thickened, within 2 min, start layering the dessert.
  3. Tear half of a 10-inch angel food cake into bite-size pcs.
  4. Hull and slice strawberries.
  5. In a large serving bowl (clear glass bowl or possibly extra large brandy snifter works great), layer half the cake pcs, a third of the strawberries and half the pudding mix.
  6. Repeat layers.
  7. Arrange remaining berries on top.
  8. Cover and chill at least 2 hrs.
  9. Makes 10 servings.
  10. It's really delicious and low in calories too!
