Easy Linguine with Clams
- 1 box (454g) of Linguine
- 2 cans (142g each) whole baby clams
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 4 tbsp of butter
- 2 cloves of garlic, one minced, one chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley
- 1 tsp of dried oregano
- 1 tsp of dried basil
- salt and pepper to taste
- parmesan cheese
- Cook Linguine as per package directions.
- In a large saucepan, heat olive oil with butter until all butter is melted over medium heat.
- Add all garlic and brown.
- Drain clams, saving liquid.
- Add clam liquid, parsley, oregano and basil, heat until boiling.
- Simmer for 10 minutes, then add clams and cook stirring well for another 4 minutes while adding salt and pepper.
- Pour over linguine mixing well, serve by adding parmesan cheese and fresh black pepper.
