Under-the-Sea Cake

  1. Line 13x9-inch pan with foil; spray with cooking spray.
  2. Prepare cake batter and bake in prepared pan as directed on package.
  3. Cool completely.
  4. Invert cake onto platter; remove pan and foil.
  5. Use serrated knife to cut 1/2-inch-wide strip off each side of cake.
  6. Cut each strip lengthwise in half; set aside.
  7. Spread trimmed cake with 1-1/2 cups COOL WHIP.
  8. Stack cake strips around outside edges of cake to make rim; frost rim with remaining COOL WHIP.
  9. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  10. Add boiling water to gelatin mix in large bowl; stir 2 min.
  11. until completely dissolved.
  12. Add ice; stir until gelatin begins to thicken.
  13. Remove any unmelted ice.
  14. Pour gelatin into center of cake as shown in photo.
  15. Refrigerate 4 hours or until gelatin is firm.
  16. Decorate with remaining ingredients to resemble an aquarium as shown in photo.
