Knob Creek Grilling Glaze
- 1/2 head roasted garlic
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 4 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1-1/3 cup brown sugar
- 3 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. minced onions
- 1 tbsp. bourbon whiskey
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- Combine water, pineapple juice, Worcestershire Sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir occasionally until mixture boils, then reduce heat to a simmer.
- Squeeze the 1/2 head of garlic into the mixture; discard skins and whick garlic to combine (if you want a smooth sauce, feel free to process it at this point).
- Add lemon juice, onion, whiskey and cayenne pepper; simmer for about an hour or until sauce is slightly syrupy and reduced.
- Sauce is now ready for basting grilled or baked foods!
