Momma's Southern Fried Corn
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1/4 cup bacon fat
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 1 salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup water
- 5 cup frozen corn
- put corn in bowl and allow to thaw.
- do not drain... add sugar, flour, 1/2 butter and salt and pepper.
- mix corn mixture well.
- put bacon drippings in skillet when hot add corn mixture to skillet.
- add 1/2 cup water... keep 1/2 cup of water on stand by.
- extra water may be needed if con becomes dry.
- add the other 1/2 of the butter..
- cover and put on low and let cook about 40-45 minutes.
- it should have almost all the water absorbed off of the corn.
