Chocolate Frosting

  1. In a small saucepan, melt chocolate over low heat, stirring frequently.
  2. Add coffee granules, strong coffee, and almond extract, and stir well.
  3. Remove from heat, and, using wooden mixing spoon, beat in butter or margarine, a few pieces at a time until smooth.
  4. Transfer to medium mixing bowl, cover, and refrigerate until thickened to spreading consistency, about 30 minutes.
