Very Rich and Savoury Soup

  1. Melt the grease/oil in a sauce pan.
  2. Chop onions finely and add to sauce pan.
  3. Crush garlic with a press, into sauce pan.
  4. Sprinkle the paprika over the mix in the sauce pan.
  5. Stir well, until mostly cooked.
  6. Sprinkle sugar over the mix in the sauce pan.
  7. Stir well, until caramelized.
  8. Turn off sauce pan.
  9. In a soup pot, add the remaining ingredients, and heat well at a medium temperature, stirring constantly.
  10. When the soup is steaming well, add the mix in the sauce pan to the soup pot.
  11. Stir well, and continue to heat until it's nearly boiling.
  12. Turn off, and pour into soup bowls.
  13. Garnish with chopped chives and grated parmesan (optional).
  14. Serve immediately.
