Hamburger Quiche Recipe
- 1/2 pound grnd beef
- 1 c. onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked deep dish pie shell
- Saute/fry beef and onion in butter till onion is soft.
- Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
- In separate bowl, blend lowfat milk, Large eggs, and Worcestershire sauce together.
- Add in 1 c. cheese.
- Combine with beef mix.
- Pour into shell.
- Sprinkle remaining 1 c. cheese over top.
- Bake in warm 425 degree oven for 20 to 25 min or possibly till set.
- Let stand 8 to 10 min before cutting into wedges.
