Pork Roast With Tangy Sauce Recipe
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon chili pwdr, divided
- 4 pound boneless pork loin
- 1 c. apple jelly
- 1 c. catsup
- 2 tbsp. vinegar
- Combine salt, garlic salt and 1/2 tsp.
- chili pwdr; rub on roast.
- Place fat side up in shallow roasting pan.
- Bake at 325 degrees about 2 hrs till pork reaches 170 degrees on meat thermometer.
- Combine jelly, catsup, 1/2 tsp.
- chili pwdr and vinegar.
- Bring to a boil; simmer 2 min, uncovered; set aside.
- Brush with sauce 15 min before roast is done.
- Heat remaining sauce and serve with meat.
