Texican Pork Chops Recipe
- 6 pork chops
- 1 (1 1/4 ounce.) pkg. taco seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 green pepper, sliced in rings
- 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. water
- 3/4 c. uncooked rice
- 2 teaspoon veg. oil
- Brown chops in warm veg.
- oil using a heavy skillet.
- Drain and place in 9x13x2 inch casserole dish.
- Add in uncooked rice.
- In separate dish, combine water, tomato sauce, taco seasoning and salt.
- Pour over chops and rice.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
- Sprinkle with cheese and top with green pepper rings.
- Bake an additional 15 min.
