Ruby et Violette's Marshmallow Sticks

  1. Simmer candy wafers in the top of a double boiler, stirring occasionally (do not let them stiffen).
  2. Thread 4 marshmallows on each stick.
  3. Cover a square of plastic foam with aluminum foil.
  4. Hold a marshmallow stick over the pan and spoon the melted coating over it, covering it more or less completely.
  5. Hold over a piece of wax paper and sprinkle with edible decorations -- the zanier and more colorful the better.
  6. Insert the stick into the foam.
  7. Repeat with remaining marshmallows.
  8. Refrigerate until coating hardens.
