Banana Chip Bars
- 1 cup flour
- 12 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 teaspoon cinnamon
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 14 cup margarine, melted
- 1 egg
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup mashed ripe banana
- 12 cup Splenda sugar substitute
- 13 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Mix flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; set aside.
- Beat margarine until smooth.
- Add egg and vanilla and beat well.
- Beat in banana and Splenda for one minute.
- Add flour mixture, beat until well blended, Stir in chips.
- Spread evenly in greased 8-inch square baking pan.
- Bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes or until tester comes out clean.
- Cool.
- Cut into bars.
- OPTIONAL: Sprinkle with additional rolled oats, before baking.
