Japanese Kombu Dashi (Kelp Stock)
15 g kombu (dried kelp)
1 liter cold water (1 quart)
Soak kombu in the water overnight or 8 hours.
Remove the kombu (you can use for other recipes if you like) and use the dashi stock for any recipe.
