Grilled Chicken Skewers

  1. First, make the marinade mixture (mix well!)
  2. and pour into a container with a lid.
  3. Just go to my TastyKitchen recipe box and look for Meat Marinade recipe.
  4. Cut the chicken breasts into 1 strips, or just use chicken tenders (which will save you a lot of prep time).
  5. Put the chicken into the marinade in a plastic container, snap the lid on, give it a good shake and throw it into the fridge overnight (if possible) or for a minimum of 4 hours.
  6. When ready to grill, soak your wooden skewers in water for at least a half an hour (so they dont burn on the grill).
  7. I often forget this step or I let the skewers soak too long and they often disintegrate on the grill but somehow I always manage to save the chicken!
  8. Obviously you can skip this step if using metal skewers which will save you the headache.
  9. Preheat grill on medium-high heat.
  10. Slide chicken onto skewers and grill for about 5 minutes per side.
