Cherry Upside-Down Cake
- 2 cans (1-1/3 lb. each) cherry pie filling
- 1 box devil's food cake mix
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Prepare cake according to package directions.
- Pour one can cherry filling into each of two 8x8" square pans or two 8" round baking pans.
- Spread evenly.
- Pour batter over cherries, dividing equally between the two pans.
- Bake 40-50 minutes or until toothpick tests clean.
- Cool in pan 10 minutes.
- Invert onto serving plate.
- Serve warm or cool.
