Chocolate Dipped Citrus Ribbons

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine all cookie ingredients except flour in bowl.
  3. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy.
  4. Add flour; beat at low speed until well mixed.
  5. Fit cookie press with ribbon template.
  6. Fill cookie press with dough.
  7. Press long continuous strips of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet; score with knife every 3 inches.
  8. Bake 7-9 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  9. Cut or break apart on scored lines.
  10. Cool completely.
  11. Melt white baking chips and 1 tablespoon shortening in 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, 3-4 minutes or until smooth.
  12. Melt chocolate chips and remaining shortening in another 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, 3-4 minutes or until smooth.
  13. Pour melted mixtures side by side into shallow dish; swirl with knife for marbled effect.
  14. Dip one end of each cookie into marbled mixture.
  15. Place cookies on cooling rack over waxed paper to set.
