Beef 'N Biscuit Pie Recipe
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 2 c. minced onion
- 1 (8 ounce.) can Hunt's tomato sauce with mushrooms
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon chili pwdr
- 2 c. biscuit mix
- 2/3 c. lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. Wesson oil
- Brown beef in skillet.
- Add in onion and cook till tender.
- Drain fat.
- Add in Hunt's sauce, salt, and chili pwdr.
- Heat.
- Combine biscuit mix, lowfat milk, Wesson.
- Knead on floured board.
- Pat half the dough in 9-inch pie pan.
- Pour in warm filling.
- Pat out remaining dough and place over filling.
- Crimp edge and slit top.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 20 to 25 min.
- 4 to 6 servings.
