Dry Jack Cheese Marinated in Herbed Olive Oil
- 7 oz. dry jack cheese
- 6 fresh sage leaves
- 5 fresh basil leaves
- 1 1/2 sprig fresh rosemary
- 1 tbsp. pink peppercorns
- 1/2 tsp. black peppercorns
- 1 medium clove garlic
- 1 1/2 c. extra-virgin olive oil
- Layer the cheese, sage, basil, and rosemary in a decorative jar.
- Add the peppercorns and garlic and pour the oil over the top until the cheese is completely covered.
- Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve, for up to 1 week.
- Bring to room temperature before serving.
