Homemade Spaghetti Sauce Recipe
- 3 cans tomato sauce
- 3 sm. cans tomato paste
- 2 cans stewed tomatoes, liquid removed
- 1 onion
- 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, diced
- Salt
- Pepper
- Oregano
- Seasoned salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. beer
- Pork neck bone for flavor
- In a big pot, put in 2 Tbsp.
- extra virgin olive oil and heat.
- Then add in diced garlic.
- Cook till tender.
- Then add in tomato sauce, tomato paste and stewed tomatoes.
- Blend well.
- Add in onions, seasonings, sugar and beer.
- Add in the pork neck bone.
- Cook on low heat for a good 2 1/2 to 3 hrs.
- Spaghetti sauce always taste best the next day.
