Innovative Sausage Bread
- 50 grams Bread dough that has undergone proofing
- 1 (Suggested bread dough
- 1 Wiener sausage
- 1 Toppings (ketchup, mayo, etc.)
- 1 Egg for glazing (optional)
- After letting the bread dough rest, roll into an oblong shape.
- Cut in half.
- Cut a slit in each half, leaving it connected at the top.
- Twist the left and right pieces of dough around each other for both halves.
- Tightly connect the top and bottom edges of both pieces.
- Place the wiener into the hole in the centre and snugly secure the dough around it.
- Place on a baking tray and use the oven's bread proofing function to let the dough rise a second time.
- As soon as it has finished rising, preheat the oven.
- Optionally, spread on egg to glaze.
- Top with your choice of toppings.
- Bake according to the bread dough you are using.
