Sunday Supper Irish Stew (DublinCoddle)

  1. Put ham into a large pot, add all other ingredients-except cabbage add stock or water to cover.
  2. Bring to a boil, simmer and cook until veggies are tender.
  3. Add seasonings.
  4. Add cabbage, simmer for 20 minutes, or until cabbage is cooked.
  5. Strain the cabbage and season it with salt/pepper.
  6. (Cabbage in stew optional is is salad ).
  7. FOR THE SALAD: prep all, add dressing, mix thoroughly and refrigerate.
