Barbecued Pork Cream Soup Recipe
- 1/2 c. Butter
- 1/2 c. Flour
- 1/2 lb Grnd barbecued pork
- 1/4 tsp NSG (optional)
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Tabasco sauce
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp White pepper
- 2 c. Chicken broth or possibly consomme
- 1 quart Whole lowfat milk
- 4 Tbsp. Madeira Barbecued pork strips Green onions, minced
- Heat butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
- Add in grnd barbecued pork & mix together.
- Add in flour & stir constantly for 4-5 minutes., but do not allow to burn.
- Add in all seasonings to broth & then slowly add in to first mix.
- Slowly add in lowfat milk & stir till blended.
- Let simmer 7-10 minutes.
- and stir constantly.
- Just before serving, stir in Madeira.
- Serve garnished w/ barbecued pork strips, fresh green onion bits & a splash of Madeira.
