My German Potatoes Made With New Potatoes

  1. These are new potatoes.
  2. 3 yield about 300 g.
  3. Wash them well and cut into 1 cm slices.
  4. They're delicious when thickly cut.
  5. Soak the potatoes in water.
  6. Cut slits in the wiener sausages diagonally in three places, then cut in half (the picture shows two wieners cut into 4 pieces total).
  7. Pat the potatoes dry, heat the olive oil in a frying pan, and place the potatoes in the pan, larger side down.
  8. Wait for a bit while the potatoes fry well.
  9. Until they're brown like this.
  10. They're so cripsy~.
  11. Then cook for 5 minutes on each side over low-medium.
  12. When the potatoes have cooked through, add the wiener sausages.
  13. (If adding finely chopped garlic, now is the time.)
  14. Now the slits in the wiener sausages are opening up, see?
  15. Season as you like and add the lemon juice.
  16. Tada!
  17. Sprinkle some dried parsley on it!
  18. This isn't junk food!
