Cuban Beef Pizzas
- 4 each beef flank steaks
- 1-1/4 qt. tomato sauce
- 1 qt. water
- 1/4 cup BULL'S-EYE Original Barbecue Sauce
- Cuban Spice Mix
- 2 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 4 tsp. onion powder
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- 2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- BULL'S-EYE Pizza Sauce
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup BULL'S-EYE Original Barbecue Sauce
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- Pizza Assembly
- 2 cups yellow onions, thinly sliced
- 4 each ready-to-use baked pizza crusts (12 inch)
- 2 cups smoked Gouda cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
- Combine steak, tomato sauce and water in pot.
- Bring to a low simmer; cook 90 min.
- Drain meat, discarding liquid.
- Shred meat; toss with barbecue sauce.
- Cuban Spice Mix: Combine ingredients.
- BULL'S-EYE Pizza Sauce: Combine ingredients in bowl.
- Stir in 1 Tbsp.
- Cuban Spice Mix.
- For each pizza: Grill 3 oz.
- onion slices on high heat; set aside.
- Place 1 crust on sheet pan.
- Top with about 1/2 cup BULL'S-EYE Pizza Sauce, 4 oz.
- shredded meat, grilled onions and 1/2 cup cheese.
- Bake in 425 degrees F oven 7 min.
- or until crust is crispy and golden brown.
- Slice into 8 pieces.
- Sprinkle with 1 tsp.
- Cuban Spice Mix and 2 Tbsp.
- cilantro.
