Stuffed Shells

  1. preheat oven to 350.
  2. boil your shells till tender.
  3. make sure to add a lil olive oil when they are done so they dont stick.
  4. saute' youre onion and garlic in a couple of tablespoons of olive oil with a generous helping of oregano, basil, salt and pepper.
  5. strain onion mixture to another bowl trying to leave as much of the oils and seasoning in the skillet.
  6. brown meat in the seasoned oil.
  7. (i also like to sprinkle some garlic salt on the meat as its browning).
  8. return onion mixture to beef.
  9. strain the juices from the cans of diced tomatoes and set aside.
  10. add diced tomatoes to beef and onions.
  11. with a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce.
  12. let simmer on low for a few to warm the tomatoes.
  13. with your tomato juice add the brown sugar.
  14. about a tsp of garlic salt and a few dashes of soy sauce.
  15. heat in microwave.
  16. grease a 13x9 pan.
  17. start filling the shells with the beef mixture till all meat is gone.
  18. (you may have a few shells left over).
  19. take the tomato sauce mixture and pour over the stuffed shells (i mix it in a measuring cup, easier to pour) then coat with the cheese (i use the whole bag) till you dont see the shells anymore.
  20. place in oven for 10 minute or until cheese is melted.
