Best Tomato Bisque Recipe

  1. Heat butter and saute/fry onion till tender.
  2. Stir in flour and heat to a bubble, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat and slowly whisk in lowfat milk.
  4. Whisk quickly, but pour lowfat milk slowly.
  5. Return to medium-high heat and bring just to a boil.
  6. Add in remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer.
  7. Simmer gently stirring frequently for about 25 min.
  8. Ladle into bowls and serve.
  9. This recipe yields 6 servings.
