Texas Stew Recipe
- 1 1/2 pound minced stew beef
- 1 med. onion, minced
- 1 med. green pepper, minced
- 2 tbsp. chili pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 pound can tomatoes
- Dash of pepper
- 1 (15 ounce.) can kidney beans, liquid removed
- 1 (12 ounce. can) corn
- Sprinkle bottom of saucepan with salt, brown stew beef.
- Add in onion, green pepper, garlic salt and cook for 2 min.
- Add in chili pwdr and cook for 2 min.
- Add in tomatoes, black pepper and simmer for 1 hour.
- Add in kidney beans and simmer for 1 hour.
- Add in corn and heat thoroughly.
