Fried Rice with Bok Choy by dianncy Recipe dianncy64

  1. Pour sesame oil in wok or frying pan, turn on medium high: saute red bell pepper and white onion until brown and or translucent.
  2. Add rice and soy sauce.
  3. Mix and (sort of) stir fry.
  4. Add brown sugar and or molassess.
  5. Mix thoroughly.
  6. Add chopped cooked meat (optional) and water chestnuts during last few minutes of heating.
  7. Add bok choy last, make one last mix and remove from heat.
  8. Dont want bok choy to go limp.
  9. Fried rice uses leftover rice, of course, but also makes great use of any leftover vegetables or meats.
  10. Try adding snow peas or bean sprouts for a really fresh flavor.
