Onion Salad - Salatat Baqduness Wa Bassal

  1. Soak the onions in hot water for about 5 minutes.
  2. This will soften them slightly and help take out the sharpness of the onion.
  3. Drain and spread out on a paper towel.
  4. Blot dry.
  5. Put onions in a bowl and add sumac, lemon juice, and olive oil.
  6. Mix and serve.
  7. Ingredients should be adjusted to taste perhaps adding black pepper.
  8. I happen to like a lot of lemon juice and sumac.
