Frozen Daikon Radish to Keep in a Ziploc Freezer Bag

  1. Rinse the daikon radish, and peel about 3 mm of its skin.
  2. Cut into 4 cm-thick rounds.
  3. If you already know how you will be using the daikon then cut it accordingly.
  4. Put the daikon into a Ziploc Freezer Bag.
  5. Press out as much air as possible, and tightly seal the opening.
  6. Freeze for minimum 6 hours to finish.
  7. Take them out and let them sit for a while before cutting.
  8. Even if the pieces are thick, you can cut them without any difficulty.
  9. Cook as-is.
  10. There is no need to defrost or parboil these daikon.
