Nolte'S Serious Beans

  1. Start with skillet.
  2. Brown the bacon; drain and reserve. Brown the Polish sausage; set aside.
  3. Saute the chopped onion in the remaining bacon fat.
  4. Open the kidney beans, butter beans and lima beans; drain in colander.
  5. Combine the remaining ingredients, except bacon fat, with above ingredients.
  6. Mix all above ingredients together with the bacon fat.
  7. Bake, uncovered at 350u0b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  8. Serve hot or at room temperature. Better the second day.
  9. (I usually double recipe.)
