Amber's Heath Bar Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Pre-heat oven to 315 degrees F. Spray cookie sheets with butter flavored cooking spray.
  2. Mix butter and crisco at medium speed with and electric mixer.
  3. Slowly, add sugars beating mixture very well.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  5. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Slowly add flour mixture to butter mixture beating well.
  7. Stir in chocolate chips and almond brickle.
  8. Drop cookies onto cookie sheet measuring with a tablespoon.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Remove and cool on cooling rack or kitchen towel.
