Vareniki with cherry and sugar Recipe
- Flour:
- 3 cups flour
- 1-2 eggs
- 2/3 cup water
- 0.5-1 spoon salt
- Filling:
- 700 gr cherry
- 1-2 tea-spoon starch
- 2 spoons sugar
- in bolted flour add eggs, warm water, add salt, and make dough, cover with napkin and leave for 30 minutes
- sugar with starch frozen cherry, warm it, pour off water
- roll thin braid from dough (~3 sm in diameter), slice it in pieces (by ~2 sm), with rolling-pin make thin rounds on desk with some flour on it, put the filling on a half of round, nip its border tightly
- boil vareniki in big amount of water
- serve with sugar or sour cream
