Healthy Granola Mix
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup jumbo oats
- 12 cup sunflower seeds, roasted & lightly salted
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 14 cup golden flax seed
- 12 cup hazelnuts, roasted and skins removed, coarsely chopped
- 14 cup almonds, coarsely chopped
- 14 cup sunflower oil or 14 cup canola oil
- 14 cup raw honey
- 12 cup golden raisin (sultanas)
- 12 cup dried sweetened cranberries
- Preheat the oven to 140 C / 275F.
- Mix together the oats, seeds and nuts in a bowl.
- Heat the oil and honey in a large pan until warm and well blended.
- Remove the pan from heat.
- Add the oat mixture to the pan and stir well.
- Spread out on one or two baking sheets.
- Bake for about 40-50 minutes until crispy, stirring occationally to prevent the mixture from sticking.
- Remove from the oven and mix in the raisins and cranberries.
- Leave to cool, then store in airtight containers.
