Hashbrown Casserole Recipe
- 1 (2 lb.) pkg. frzn hash browns
- 1 stick melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 can cream of chicken or possibly mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1 pt. (16 ounce.) lowfat sour cream
- 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- Completely thaw hash browns.
- Mix all, except topping.
- Pour into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 min (or possibly longer if potatoes not thawed).
- During last 10 min, sprinkle topping over casserole.
- To Make Topping: Mix corn flakes with melted butter.
- Sprinkle over casserole.
- Sprinkle cheese around edge of casserole if you like.
- Continue baking.
- Serves 10.
