Potato-Topped Cheesy Chicken Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a saute pan with about 1 Tbsp of butter saute onions and mushrooms until tender.
  3. In a bowl combine broccoli mixture, chicken, half of the green onions, garlic powder or fresh minced garlic plus the sauteed onions and mushrooms.
  4. Transfer to a 3-quart baking dish.
  5. Arrange potatoes on top.
  6. Bake, uncovered for 40 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with cheese and remaining green onions.
  8. Bake 5-10 minutes more or until cheese melts.
