Aunt Tammy's Butterscotch Apple Crisp
- 5 granny smith apples, peeld and roughly chopped
- 1 (11 ounce) bag butterscotch chips
- 14 cup light brown sugar
- 14 cup all-purpose flour
- 12 teaspoon cinnamon
- 14 teaspoon allspice
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 34 cup all-purpose flour
- 14 cup light brown sugar
- 12 cup quick oats
- 1 pinch salt
- 12 cup butter
- 34 cup chopped pecans
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Butter 2 quart baking dish.
- Filling: Toss apples, butterscotch chips, flour cinnamon, allspice and lemon juice together.
- Add to buttered baking dish and dot with butter.
- Topping: Combine flour, sugar, oats and salt.
- Blend butter into mix until it forms pea sized lumps.
- Stir in pecans and sprinkle over filling.
- Bake about 45 minutes.
