Zesty Bean Chili made with A. 1. and BOCA
- 1/2 cup oil
- 3 qt. red peppers, chopped
- 2 qt. onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup garlic cloves, minced
- 1-1/2 gal. frozen BOCA Ground Burger, separated
- 1 cup canned chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup chili powder
- 2 Tbsp. ground cumin
- 1-1/2 gal. canned diced tomatoes, undrained
- 3 qt. canned black beans, drained, rinsed
- 1-1/2 qt. canned chili beans, undrained
- 1-1/2 qt. canned tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1-1/3 cups A.1. Original Sauce
- Heat oil in large stockpot on medium-high heat.
- Add red peppers, onions and garlic; saute 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add crumbles, chipotle peppers and seasonings; mix well.
- Cook 5 minutes or until heated through.
- Add all remaining ingredients except steak sauce; mix well.
- Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 10 minutes.
- Stir in steak sauce.
- Continue to cook 10 to 15 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
