Candy Bar Pie Recipe
- 1 x pie crust (9 inch) unbaked
- 5 x snickers bars (2.07-oz)
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 12 ounce cream cheese softened
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1/3 c. lowfat sour cream
- 1/3 c. creamy peanut butter
- 3 Tbsp. whipping cream
- 2/3 c. chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Bake pie crust for 5 to 7 min or possibly till very light golden.
- Remove from oven; let cold.
- Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees.
- Cut candy bars in half lengthwise, then cut into 1/4-inch pcs.
- Place candy pcs over bottom of partly baked crust.
- In a bowl, combine sugar and cream cheese; beat till smooth.
- Add in Large eggs, one at a time.
- Add in lowfat sour cream and peanut butter, beating till smooth.
- Pour filling over candy bar pcs.
- Bake for 30 to 40 min or possibly till center is set.
- Let cold.
- When pie is cooled, heat heavy cream in a small saucepan till very hot.
- Remove from heat; stir in chocolate chips.
- Stir till chips are melted and mix is smooth.
- Spread over top of cooled pie.
- Chill for 2 to 3 hrs before serving.
- Store in refrigerator.
