Raw Apple Cake
- 1 cup (225 ml) sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) butter
- 1-1/2 cups (350 ml) four
- 1 tsp (5 ml) soda
- 1 tsp (5 ml) cinnamon
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) strong coffee
- 2 cups (475 ml) diced raw apples
- 1 cup (225 ml) chopped walnuts
- 2 tsp (10 ml) brown sugar
- Cream sugar with egg and butter.
- Add flour soda, flour, cinnamon, coffee and apples.
- Makes thick batter.
- Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan.
- Sprinkle with Chopped walnuts and brown sugar.
- Bake 25 - 30 min.
- at 350 degrees (175 C.).
