Bell Pepper Curry Recipe
- 3 x peppers, diced
- 3 x 4 tbsp chick-pea flour
- 1 x 2 tbsp oil, ( i prefer peanut oil)
- 1 pch turmeric
- 1 x 2 tsp chile pwdr, (to taste) salt to taste
- 1 Tbsp. cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- X Optional - peanuts, chana Dal, urad dal - this makes It crunchy x Optional - a healthy pinch of Asafoetida) heat oil in a pan.
- add in mustard seeds when the oil is smoking.
- Wait for the seeds to sputter.
- Add in cumin seeds, (optional) dals, peanuts, asafoetida.
- Drop the peppers in.
- Add in turmeric, chile pwdr and salt.
- Saute/fry until the peppers are slightly tender.
- Add in the chickpea flour and mix well.
- Saute/fry until the flour makes a nice golden crust.
- Serve warm with dal and rice.
