Crispy Corn Dogs Recipe
- 1 c. flour
- 3/4 c. cornmeal
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. dry mustard
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tbsp. shortening (melted)
- Oil for frying
- 12 wieners
- 12 skewers
- Combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, mustard, baking pwdr and salt.
- Add in lowfat milk, egg and shortening.
- Mix till smooth.
- Pour mix into tall glass.
- Put wieners on skewers.
- Dip one at a time into batter.
- Fry till golden in 375 degree oil.
- Drain on paper towel.
