Cajun Dirty Rice Recipe
- 1 lb Chicken Gizzards -- finely Minced
- 1 lb Chicken Livers -- finely Minced
- 1/4 c. Squeeze Parkay Margarine
- 1 1/2 c. Onion -- finely minced
- 1/2 c. Celery -- finely minced
- 1/4 c. Green Pepper -- minced
- 2 x Garlic Cloves -- chopped
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1/8 tsp Grnd Red Pepper
- 3 c. Warm Cooked Minute Rice
- 1/2 c. Minced Parsley
- Brown meat in margarine in large skillet.
- Add in onion, celery, green pepper, garlic and seasonings, mix well.
- Cover.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, over medium heat till vegetables are tender.
- Add in rice and parsley, mix lightly.
- Serve immediately.
