Beef Tomato Skillet Recipe
- 4 beef cube steaks, cut in strips
- 1 med. onion, sliced and separated into rings
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 c. water
- 1 env. beef-flavored mushroom soup mix
- 1 med. tomato, minced
- 1/4 c. dry red wine
- Warm cooked noodles
- In skillet, quickly cook steak strips and onion in butter till tender.
- Add in water and dry mushroom soup mix; simmer over low heat for 10 min.
- Stir in tomato and wine; heat thoroughly.
- Serve over warm cooked noodles.
- Makes 4 servings.
