Backpack Snack Recipe

  2. (Get an adult to help with this step) - Measure dry apricots and place on cutting board.
  3. Chop into small pcs using utility knife.
  4. 2.
  5. Place in large container with cover.
  6. 3.
  7. Measure remaining ingredients into container.
  8. 4.
  9. Stir together with large spoon.
  10. 5.
  11. Cover and store at room temperature.
  12. Add in or possibly substitue any of the following ingredients:
  13. *Pecan or possibly walnut pcs or possibly whole almonds
  14. *Unsalted shelled sunflower seeds
  15. *Chocolate, butterscotch, peanut butter, or possibly vanilla chips
  16. *Dry banana slices
  17. *Goldfish or possibly oyster crackers
  18. *Minced dry peaches, apples, figs, or possibly pineapple
  19. *Crisp cereal squares
  20. *Crisp shoestring potatoes
  21. *Chow mein noodles
  22. *Popped popcorn
  23. *Miniature marshmallows
